At SIAA, we’ve been blessed with so much and we are committed to giving back.
Breast cancer has touched our work family twice.
We mourned as one of our SIAA team lost his wife after a long battle with breast cancer.
We celebrated as the wife of another colleague survived breast cancer due to early detection.
We know both ends of the breast cancer experience, and because of that, we founded SIAA Project Pink, a fundraiser for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) to honor our lost friend Lori Kunz and to help raise money for additional research to find a cure.
We chose the Breast Cancer Research Foundation carefully; they have an “A” rating from Charitywatch, and 88% of donations go directly to programs to fund promising research to treat and cure breast cancer.
Please help us by donating. The process is fast, easy, and secure. and any amount helps.
It only takes $200 to fund a half-day of research. Your donation will really make a difference.
In 2019-2020, BCRF will award $66 million in annual grants to nearly 275 scientists from top universities and medical institutions around the globe.
In addition, BCRF has established a multi-year international program dedicated to metastasis that is the first large-scale global effort to unravel the biology of metastasis, with more than $30 million earmarked to date. It is the largest privately funded project exclusively focused on metastasis in the world. But we still have more to do.
